Regional Tertiary/Commuter services
The Regional Tertiary/Commuter services are a joint venture between the University of Waikato, Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council. Each organisation contributes funds to make the service available, along with a grant from Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
These services are operating from Monday 13 February 2023 to Friday 15 December 2023, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
All tertiary services will then recommence on Monday 12th February 2024.
- Routes 102 and 105: Passengers change buses mid journey -please follow the instructions from your driver
- The buses on these services do not currently have wheelchair access

The buses operating these services are not always a branded Bayhopper or Cityride bus.
