Routes 122 and 135 - Kakahoroa Drive, Whakatane - Detour - Project Future Proof

A traffic closure will be in place from 13th February 2024 until end of July, with a single lane closure in place for east bound traffic along Kakahoroa Drive.

In-bound trips on routes 122 and 135 will detour as follows:

From McAlister Street.
Turn Right onto Pyne Street.
Turn Left onto Commerce Street.
Turn Right onto Canning Place.
Turn Left onto George Street.
Take roundabout to Quay Street (I-Site Bus Stop)

Outbound trips will remain unchanged.

The Boulevard East, Pāpāmoa will be closed from Monday 18 March - Friday 17 May 2024.

Routes 60, 70, 72A & 72B - Permanent Outbound Detour - From 21 March

Due to the closure of Willow Street from Spring Street from 21 March 2024, buses on routes 60, 70, 72A and 72B will now take the following outbound detour:

The Bus Stop outside 51 Willow Street (Outside Beca) is now closed.

The new Bus Stop is located at 51 Willow Street (Outside Clarence Restuarant)

Waitaha Road be closed from 06:00AM Tuesday 02 April until 06:00AM Monday 10 June 2024.

Bus Stop Closed: Waitaha Reserve.

Temporary Bus Stops located on Welcome Bay Road/Esmeralda Street for both Inbound and Outbound Services.

Detour Routes 2 and 5 - Full Closure of Links Avenue - 14 April - 13 May

Due to the full closure of Links Avenue the following detour will be in place.

All bus stops along Links Avenue will be closed for the duration of these works.

Please use the existing stops on Golf Road (near Waitui Grove).

Temporary stops on Concord Avenue are located outside 31 Concord and 32 Concord Avenue.

Gravatt Road will be closed from 06:00AM Monday 22 April until 06:00PM Sunday 29 April 2024, with detours in place, and the following bus stops closed:
